This series of panels feature nine of Oregon's beautiful covered bridges. The panels are printed from original paintings by Richard T. Lee.
Each panel has an 8 ½" x 9 ½" image printed on an 11" square. Printed on 200 thread count high quality 100% cotton...washable and colorfast.

Chitwood Bridge Lincoln County, Oregon
Chitwood Bridge is located in Lincoln County, Oregon and spans the Yaquina River. The bridge was built in 1926 by well known bridge builder, Otis Hamar and has a length of 96 feet. It was reconstructed in 1984 and stands today next to Highway 20 on the way to the coast.

Drift Creek Bridge Lincoln County, Oregon
This bridge was originally constructed in 1914. The bridge fell into disrepair and in 1994 was demolished and the pieces were moved and reassembled by the Sweitz family about 8 miles from it's original location.

Grave Creek Bridge Josephine County, Oregon
The Grave Creek Bridge is located in Sunny Valley, about 15 miles north of Grants Pass. The bridge features six gothic style windows on each side and rounded entrance portals. It was built in 1920 in only four months time at a price of $21,128.

Sandy Creek Bridge Coos County, Oregon
The Sandy Creek Bridge was built in 1921 and is located 31 miles west of Roseburg. It was used on old Highway 42 until it was bypassed in 1949. It is the only covered bridge in Coos County. It features large framed windows on each side for increased interior lighting.

Thomas Creek (Shimanek) Bridge Scio, Oregon
The current bridge is the fifth bridge to be located in this spot. Storms and floods have taken out the previous structures. The first covered bridge was said to have been built in 1891. The current bridge, built in 1966 features a white interior, red exterior with louvered windows.

Stayton Jordan Bridge Stayton, Oregon
The Stayton-Jordan Bridge was originally built in 1937 over Thomas Creek in Linn County just east of Scio. It was relocated to Stayton's Pioneer Park and dedicated in 1988. In 1994, a short in Christmas lights burned the structure down. A community effort came together to replace the old bridge with the present structure, dedicated in 1998.

Crawfordsville Bridge Crawfordsville, Oregon
Located in Linn County near Brownsville, the Crawfordsville Bridge crosses the Calapooia River. The open truss design bridge was built in 1932 at the settlement named for Philemon Crawford, an early settler.

Ritner Creek Bridge Pedee, Oregon
The Ritner Creek Covered Bridge is located in Polk County near the small town of Pedee. The 75 foot structure was built in 1927 using the Howe truss design combining strength with asthetics. In 1976 the Ritner Bridge was the last covered bridge to be removed from the state highway system. At that time it was relocated 60 feet downstream.

Office Bridge Westfir, Oregon
The Office Bridge, crossing the North Fork of the Willamette River, was constructed in 1944. At at 180 feet it is the longest covered bridge in Oregon. Constructed by the Westfir Lumber Company, it was designed with triple beams to provide strength needed to accomodate loaded log trucks. The name came from the fact that the bridge connected the mill with the office. It also incorporates a covered pedestrian walkway.
